Built in 1846 Boyds Tower is an historic 5-storey sandstone tower located at Red Point, on the southern headland of Twofold Bay. Originally intended as a lighthouse by well known entrepreneur and namesake Ben Boyd, permission to light it was refused by the government. Boyd's Tower was eventually taken over and used to spot whales at Kiah Inlet.

Take a full day walk or a two hour stroll along the 30 kilometres Light to Light Walk between Boyd's Tower and Green Cape Lightstation.

Access to The Tower has been upgraded and a 500 metre asphalt track (suitable for wheelchairs) connects the tower to the car park.
