Greencape Lighthouse was the first cast concrete lighthouse tower in Australia.
It is situated in the picturesque Ben Boyd National Park on the Far South Coast of New South Wales.
The lighthouse was built in 1883 and at 29 meters, is the second tallest light in the State.
The main light has been decommissioned and replaced with a steel lattice tower on which an automated solar powered light now operates.
The original tower is now a tourist attraction and also provides a venue for VK2CE and company to operate from in August each year for the International Lighthouse/Lightship weekend.
