Further Information
Last year, scientists at the CSIRO established that Jenolan Caves is the oldest known cave system in the world. The truly unique surrounds offer students the opportunity to experience rare wildlife, unchanged and contrasting ecosystems, and geological formations wilder than the imagination. Such diversity means students never get bored and examples of the concepts being learned can be studied up close. Learning in the bush and the caves is an inspiring experience, adding interest and fun to every lesson. Teachers can be assured that programs are developed with a clear consideration of learning outcomes, age, length of visit and adapted to suit the needs of any particular group. With each excursion booked, we provide appropriate information and work sheets for teachers and students.
