This is the site of one of the original hotels in the area, dating back to 1841. Numerous coaches stopped at this hotel after crossing the Macquarie River. It was a successful business venture and attracted settlers, station hands and later miners.

Restaurant and Bar with a fantastic food proudly one of the best places to visit in Wellington.

The Tavern was great! I loved it The atmosphere was like a real country PUB.
