Located in the Old Courthouse Building, the Boorowa Courthouse Arts & Crafts Co-op provides local tourist information and sells local handmade products. Browse the wonderful display of locally made products, historical books of the district and souvenirs. A fine choice of hand made jumpers are available for purchase and wonderful local jams and cakes like grandmother made.
The Co-operative is made up of local people who make and sell their goods through the craft shop. The craft room is located in the former Clerk of Petty Sessions Office. Often there is a special exhibition in the Magistrate's Courtroom with Mother's Day Exhibitions, Christmas Exhibitions and Quilts.
In 1984 major renovations totalling $35,000 were carried out on the historic building to celebrate its centenary. The Court House was closed in 1988 and all books and records were transferred to Yass. It remains a fine example of a country courthouse and is used for art shows and exhibitions.
