RD Opal Centre has been in the same location in Coffs Harbour since 1986, previous to which it was in the city centre in 1985.

R D Opal Centre provide premium quality gemstones and jewellery to customers at miner's prices. We deliver worldwide, and we are open for inspection 7 days 9am to 5pm.

Staff have over 30 years of experience in Lightning Ridge opal mining and offer 30 years of experience in cutting, grading and pricing rare Black Opals.

Had an urgent overseas order to fulfil. Bought a very ordinary opal worth about $180. I needed a large 14 x 10mm stone and this store only had 2 to choose from and little else in other sizes.
