The Stroud and District Historical Society meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 1-30pm at the Stroud Courthouse. The old schoolhouse known as Quambi, now converted to a museum is open on Sundays from 10am to 3pm. The Courthouse is open each Wednesday for visitors between 10am and 2pm. At the back of the courthouse, there are two sheds which contain many historical relics with examples of old machinery and tools used in bygone days.
Guided tours can be arranged for groups by contacting the society. If you would like to join the Historical Society please come along to one of our meetings where you will be made most welcome.
