Koala Hospital

Located in the grounds of Roto House, the Koala Hospital provides a group of volunteers committed to the wellbeing and protection of wild koalas.

The hospital is operated by the Preservation Society of NSW and admits about 250-300 Koala's to its Intensive Care Wing each year.

During recuperation the koalas receive a diet of three different varieties of Eucalypt and are moved from Intensive Care to the outdoor yards.

Upon full recovery, the koala is then returned to its home range.
