Coming from Brisbane, I was amazed to find this beautiful bright Motel on a bleak trip from Brisbane to Cairns. I stayed here for 3 nights and could not have asked for anything more accommodating: The rooms were spotless (and believe me I'm a clean FREAK) the beds were comfortable, the rooms were freshly painted in bright colours and smelt wonderful! and get this, there were brand new flat screen TV's and fridges and the carpet looked as if it had been laid yesterday (i ... There is no photo of this place for a reason. When you arrive at reception you are greeted by two angry cattle dogs barking at you from behind a fence and a third dog sitting near the reception. The place is filthy!!! They are renovating and do their own linen - which on closer inspection was filthy!!! Don't turn a light on when you look at the sheets ... Read More
