The Swan Hotel

Standing proudly as reminder of everything that history is, the Swan Hotel is a landmark on the Swan River in North Fremantle. Known for its support of the local Fremantle music scene, the Swan has opened the 'Swan Basement', providing concert and venue space for live music six nights a week.

Hard to belive that this happening place is on the Register of the National Estate, but wonder upstairs and be reminded with that cosy traditional pub feel that caters to everybody. The facade of the building is a classic example of the late Victorian Italianate style which was the characteristic style for public buildings in north Fremantle in the early 20th century.
