Turner Cottage Restaurant (formerly New Stables Tearooms) was built in 1981 to represent the stables of the horses that were used on the Mail coach run from Perth to Bunbury which stopped here in the late 1800's.
The setting consists of a nostalgic glimpse into past where you may imagine the Turner family farming the land, managing the flooded riverbanks and tending to their animals and orchards. Their home, circa 1856, has been carefully restored and is close by.
You may dine inside their lovely restaurant setting or outside overlooking the Serpentine River. Turner Cottage Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus coffee, tea and beverages. Group bookings welcomed.
