Brenda May established Access Contemporary Art Gallery in Sydney in 1985 to support emerging Australian artists. The Gallery changed it name from Access Contemporary Art Gallery to Brenda May Gallery & moved into the Danks Street complex when it opened in 2001 & currently represents a small group of emerging to senior artists including Tanmaya Bingham, Robert Boynes, Jim Croke, Sybil Curtis, Todd Fuller, James Guppy, Melinda Le Guay, Carol Murphy, Marc Standing, Lezlie Tilley & Peter Tilley.
The Gallery maintains its support of non-represented artists by hosting a broad range of solo and thematic exhibitions throughout the year. An extensive website and a corresponding open stockroom of moveable racks completes this long established gallery.
