Located in the old head office of the Melbourne Fire Brigade, the award winning Fire Services Museum Victoria, was opened in 1979 to provide a home and focus for the history of fire fighting services in Victoria.

The Museum comprises a collection of over 10,000 fire related items including Country Fire Authority and Metropolitan Fire Brigade, fire appliances, personnel histories, memorabilia and associated items.

Most of the Museum Personnel are retired fire fighters and can offer a lively story or two about their craft and its history.

The souvenir shop at the Fire Services Museum Victoria stocks a range of fire history related items for children and adults.
Opening Times
*Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 3pm and Sundays 10am to 4pm. *Groups and schools at other days and times by arrangement.
