The major refurbishment of the Clocktower building (once known as the Essendon Town Hall) was both a preservation and enhancement of the proud heritage of the area and the creation of a state of the art facility for the community, the performing arts, social and corporate activities.

The Clocktower Centre has its own vibrant and exciting annual programme of theatre & performing arts. The Morning Music is a sensational morning's entertainment - a series of musical concerts, nostalgia and comedy featuring some of Australia's most popular entertainers. Complimentary morning tea is included.

The Clocktower Café is perfect for a casual breakfast, business lunch or coffee and cake with friends. Innovative menus are filled with fresh homemade cuisine and a special a la carte menu is available for season show dining. The café is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm and open pre-show for all theatre performances and post-show for all Theatre Season performances.

Getting There: *The Clocktower is located 15 minutes from Melbourne's CBD on the junction of Mount Alexander and Pascoe Vale Roads in Moonee Valley, northwest Melbourne. Free short term parking is available opposite the main entrance and on Mt Alexander Road either side of Queens Park * Trams No. 59 Airport West, Stop No. 33 stops near the Clocktower from Melbourne. This tram accesses the city via Elizabeth St running every 10 minutes *The Broadmeadows Line stops at Moonee Ponds at the end of Puckle St, a 10 minute walk from the Clocktower Centre
