Mount Matilda

Mount Matilda is the highest point of the hills at 434 metres.

There is a large CALM (Conservation and Land Management) Reserve on the top, and CALM, the Wongan Hills Tourist Promotion Committee and the Wongan-Ballidu Shire are currently in the process of accessing funds from Trails West for walk trails on Mount Matilda.

From this lookout, you get a magnificent view of Lake Hinds and the west Wongan area. Looking north you see Mount Rupert (490 m) which is privately owned.
