We booked a 2 bedroom apartment through Total Travels website and had the best few days. The 2 bedroom apartment was fully furnished with everything we needed. It was handy to Queen Street mall and then in the evenings we walked to Chinatown for the best Chinese dinners at Enjoy Inn and The Vietnamese ... Read More (Date of experience: Jun, 2010 )

Getting ThereBY CAR: Drive down Turbot Street, which is a one-way street, in the right-hand lane past the Sofitel and Novotel Hotels. Cross Wharf Street then turn right into Raff Street and turn sharp left into the first driveway. You will be turning into the Republic Apartments' Visitor Parking area. BY TRAIN: From Brisbane's Central Rail Station walk the 300 metres down Turbot Street toward Chinatown, in the same direction as the one-way traffic. FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT: A 14kms (approx. $40) taxi ride will take no more than 15 minutes. Or, $12.00 per person by Air-train to Central Rail Station.
