Quite simply the best breakfasts ever tasted by my wife (veggie) and me (traditional English) during our 20+ years of travelling the UK. It's not just the warm, homebaked breads, it's the lot. Abbeyfields ticks all the other boxes, too ... Read More (Date of experience: Nov, 2011 )

My wife and I spent 3 wonderful days in York. Abbeyfields is the perfect place to be based, just a few minutes walk into the city. Clean, comfortable, with stacks of little touches that make a difference (especially to my wife!) The breakfasts were to die for; the best we've ever had in a guest house ...
