I stayed with some friends in a house on the hill behind Tangalooma. It had spectacular views and was very quiet away from the resort which is a bit rundown and daggie but has great facilities and entertainment such as quad bikes, para flying, snorkeling at the Wrecks, whale watching and island tours just to name a few ... I recently stayed at Tangalooma with my sister and had a fantastic time!! We made a long weekend out of it and ended up wishing we didn't have to leave... The dolphin feeding was by far the best experience out of the trip, however riding the quad bikes up the top of the resort over looking the bay and glass house mountains was also breathtaking ...
