After endless days of searching for accommodation with a log fire that "has real flames" as well as a spa bath, we had almost given up...until we came across the Spicers Vineyards.

We travel a lot, and I mean a lot, and vineyard estate just gets it right. The complimentary mini bar on arrival meant I didn't have to travel to get a bottle of fizz to celebrate our anniversary, the restaurant (Botanica) is great - really tasty bistro style food with a great wine list and the friendliest wait team I have had in ages, the cute 9 hole putt putt course was great for a laugh and the location is perfect because you are no more than 10 min from anything yet set back off the road so you don't see or hear the neighbours ... This place is out of this world, from the mood music already playing in the CD when you enter your room to the complimentary mini-bar (free & choc full of goodies including a bottle of bubbly). Its hard to believe I could be so satisfied - the rooms are big and comfy, the setting lovely, views great, but it was the people that made it perfect.
