The only holiday where I have actually come home feeling like my batteries have been recharged. What can I say...... New years eve in the middle of the bush under the Southern Cross where you can actually see the black holes in the milky way, bathing in a crisp mountain stream that reminds you that you are alive, exquisite mountain rock lilies & the smell of eucalptus after a shower, the smell of leather and horse sweat, unpredictable exciting storms, relaxing back after a long days riding around a camp fire not having to cook, the most relaxing silent sleep you will ever have, tea cooked in a billy, the thrill of your first brumby sighting, the time to yourself to think while you sit in the saddle in the most beautiful bushland, the enjoyment of meeting people from all over the world & simply time spent away from the rat race ... A wonderful experience. Had not ridden a horse for close to 25 years and was quite hesitant but I should not have worried because the horses and staff were brilliant as was the entire adventure.
