Broken Hill seems to have gone in for this cottages thing in a big way. The tourist info told us they are now more popular than motels.

Blue Gum Cottage was just right for us. Close to the centre of town and as the advert says, no trucks! What we really liked was getting quoted the same price it would have cost us for a motel room, we didn't realise you actually get a 2 bedroom house ... Read More

I found the cottage to be very clean with everything we needed. The shower was great and the beds were very comfortable. Our sleep was never interrupted from outside noise. Though still in town and around the corner from the best park Ive ever seen ... Read More
