This is not the same place we visited a few years back. The new owners have painted and freshened the rooms but better still, they have created an outdoor area and BBQ adjacent to the pool. The grassy lawn and native trees attract birdlife like the king parrot and galahs ... Read More

Marengo is really worth a stay. It is 2kms past Apollo Bay and the beach there is great. You can see the seals on the rocks while you fish! Being out of town we walked 20mins into town everyday and got some much needed exercise ... Read More

Recently stayed at Motel Marengo, a short walk to Apollo Bay, and had a fantastic holiday. The pool and spa were terrific, the BBQ area frequented by all sorts of parrots including the King parrot.
