Stayed overnight in a spa room with breakfast. Only complaint was the very noisy fridge in room. Have no other complaints. It was clean spacious, opening windows a view. In room spa was "in the room" It was relaxing ... Read More

Getting ThereWhen approaching from Hobart/Devonport [or Launceston Airport] along the main highway, turn right into Howick Street [very first set of traffic lights as you enter Launceston]. Proceed to the T Junction, turn left into High Street. Drive approx. 1 km to the first set of traffic lights, turn left [York Street] and the Country Comfort is just around the corner. We are also displayed on all major GPS units. THINGS TO DO: Opposite the Olympic size swim complex. Close to tourism attractions, Aurora Football Stadium, Cataract Gorge, Gold Mines, Caves, Wildlife [Tasmanian Devil] Sanctuaries, Old Seaport Marina (Restaurants and Cruises), Tamar Valley Wine Route, Platpus Park, Roman Baths, Seahorse World, parks, golf courses and playgrounds.
