We went away looking to re-connect with no one else around to interrupt up...that is exactly what we found at Hidden Valley, Pickering Brook.
The cabins are isolated enough to make one feel secluded yet still only a 5 minute walk to the main road and 2 minute walk to reception.
The room was very well appointed with only minor detractions from the total luxury feel of the entire place.
A big screen TV was the only Modern feature that was not provided in the room...and while TV watching wasn't the reason for going, it would have been nice to watch the romantic movie together on a larger screen.
Glasses and cutlery didn't match up, no screens on the bathroom and the lack of a step for the raised bedroom-floor were the only complaints we had. But the overall satisfaction and enjoyment was not spoilt by these minor matters.
The magic of sitting in the spa and looking out over the bush was unbeatable...well, until we broke out the prawns and the Gascoyne Rib-eye steak and cranked up the BBQ. (Date of experience: Feb, 2010 )
