Pensione Hotel Sydney - by 8Hotels

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was perfect for what i needed.....I got in at 11:30am and asked for an early check in..i did email them as a courtesy a week b 4 but this seemed not necessary as after i asked i got nothing but helpful assistance and was in my hotel room by 12:30pm with an upgrade!!:)....the room was small due to choosing the petite option, travelling for business i would not be in the room to long ..but it was roomier then i expected and fitted me and my partner with ease....now this hotel is a little bit like a labyrinth... this was not a bad thing at all!!..i took an elevator straight down from my room and ended up on a back street of china town ..this was perfect as i found cheap yummy food....being right in the middle of the CBD was perfect for me and the booklets they offer at reception gave me the best gastronomical experience i have had in a while the restaurant was called marigolds offering dim sum/yum cha...trully a Chinese cultural experience.. :) (Date of experience: Mar, 2011 )
