A one night stayer

This caravan park is situated away from the main town of Burnie and not walking distance to shops. It is only a 2 star park, the amenities are old, and could do with a bit of an update and the smaller amenities block is not cleaned daily. The sites are very small and sloping however there is a lot of wild-life here at night that come right up to the vans, delightful. An untidy park, but it is quiet. We stayed 3 nights, but would only recommend this as a 1 night stayer. A nice beach opposite. Rated as a 2 star park, we would agree with that...

Thanks for your feedback. This caravan park is approx 4 kilometers from the centre of Burnie and this is advertised on our web site and it is a three star park. Our sites are either grass or slab sites and a good size though there are a couple of smaller ones and some that are uneven. Currently everyone has the option of choosing their own site so you get what you want. The park is tidy and we have had many compliments about this. Yes the amenities are old but both lots of amenities are cleaned on a daily basis - unfortunately we cannot be there all the time to make sure someone does not dirty them. The larger amenities block will be upgraded within the next 12 months and the small block is currently being repainted and spruced up. We have only been here a few months and know that we have some work to do.
