Just spent 3 nights at the the Nook (July 2009). Arrived mid morning and was welcomed with a pot of tea and a slice of cake. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean with tea and coffe facilities and clean towels. Breakfast was very nice, lots of choice in nice clean right surroundings.
The Nook is at the top of a hill looking down onto St Ives bay, not a bad walk up and down although may be difficult for some who are not as able. St Ives bay is lovely with a lovely coastal walk. Carbis Bay is also worth a visit. My only gripe with St Ives town is that parking is difficult and vehicles are driving through the very narrow streets which can sometimes be a nusiance. I would definately recommend the Nook, good value for money.
