I visited in summer with my mum who was over from New Zealand and our two children under three. I found Sunnyhurst chalets such a wonderful place to relax. They were so accommodating. I didn't need to pack extra tea towels, extra dishwashing liquid etc, they had plenty for our whole stay. The owners even offered us an expandable trellis stand to block the four wooden steps off the veranda from my 8 month old falling down, as I had mentioned I may have to block it with my pram. (so thoughtful).
The pool was such a luxury in the heat of the day, and the veranda was the best ambiance and view to have wine and cheese! My 8 month old settled so well away from home as I took him down to the "statue seats" beside the mini golf as the sun went down. He drifted off in my arms!
Writing this review reminds me of our time away and makes me want to go back. I would recommend it to anyone. (Date of experience: Jan, 2009 )
