The Berkeley

We rented the 2 bedroom/2 bath unit in the Berkeley. While the location was awesome (pretty much walking distance from everything) the unit was very disappointing. The shower in the master bathroom did not work, the television did not work, the carpets and floors were filthy, drape rods were partially hanging with no drapes, there were door handles and cupboard handles missing and there was mold on the ceiling in both bathrooms. They never informed us that the unit was in such disrepair when we booked. We contacted the property manager on our second day (a Saturday) and they did not get back to us until Monday. By the time we left on Thursday they had not done anything (other than wipe the mold and very light vacuum). All in all a run down unit in a great location in downtown Sydney (Date of experience: Dec, 2011 )
