The Hop Farm Family Park

I spent he 2009 August Bank Holiday weekend camping at the Hop Farm and was very dissapointed with the site for the following reasons: 1. NOT NEW: It is not a 'superb new site' as so many write ups say. It may have only recently opened to touring campers (as opposed to festival campers) but it is not new an neither are the facilities. 2. MUDDY: The field we stayed in featured the toilet and shower block but there were no tarmacced roads or paths with the result that the flloor of the Shower block quickly became very muddy after being cleaned by the the hard working cleaner chap. 3. SHOWERS: The ceiling of the Gents shower block was covered in black mould and sagging. There are 10 shower cubicles and the first three showers I tried did not work and the hot water ran out by 8.30am on the Sunday morning.
