Julian's Cottage

Our group of 7 women descended on Julian's Cottage for our Xmas in July celebration. It was a cool and windy weekend and we were delighted to find a beautifully furnished cottage set in rolling hills and with all mod cons. With reverse cycle air-conditioners in every room and electric blankets on the beds, Julian's Cottage was warm and cosy. Its well appointed kitchen had everything required to produce the full Xmas feast and the large dining table provided the perfect setting for our gala dinner. It was pleasing to find full sets of good quality (and matching) cutlery, crockery and glasses often not available in rental accommodation. Another feature worth mentioning is that the cottage is designed to accommodate disabled people with a ramp for easy access as well as appropriate shower facilities. Overall the cottage was extremely well equipped and located. It was absolutely ideal for a group such a ours. It was evident that the owners took great care to plan and furnish their accommodation anticipating the needs of their guests and paying great attention to detail. Our group was so impressed that we are planning a return to Julian's Cottage for Xmas in July 2010 ....you can't get a better recommendation than that!
