    Blowing a gale off the South Pole

    What a really pleasant place to come 'home' to. After a nature excursion into the nearby Southern Hummocks watching hawks chase radio control airplanes. With a cold, blustery south-wind blowing.

    It was great to treat ourselves to a warm country meal at the nearby hotel.

    Then a short stroll away to relax in really comfortable clean surroundings.
    Our thanks to Joe and Barbara for prompt service and taking care of us.

    I highly recommend Port Wakefield Holiday Cottages with their huge back yard and secure parking space. Port Wakefield is a good staging point for the mid-north.
