I stayed in Nambour Heights Motel last year for 2 weeks.
If someone is rating this as 4 star, then they probably have not stayed at a star class accommodation.
This is family business that only aims at raking money without giving a reasonable service.
The woman in the front desk is unfriendly and at times very rude. That is the first impression you may get.
The rooms are small. After sleeping on the cheap mattress, I nearly got a bad back after a week. Cleaning is limited to weekends. I was leaving on a Sunday, so my room was not cleaned on preceding Saturday – I lived in the hell for 8 days in a raw. When you open the balcony door (there was one where one person can barely turn), at least a dozen of flies get in to the room.
The pool is more like a pond where you can take a small dog for a swim.
The motel is next to a busy shopping centre visited by people who come to Nambour General Hospital, so it is noisy during the day.
If you are looking for cheap dirt (the rates are not very cheap) then this is the place. (Date of experience: Jun, 2010 )
