Experience of a lifetime
by georgeandmary (prior to 01/07/2010) As a OTHERWe had a week's stay on Charlotte Plains, with so many fabulous experiences, it is hard to know where to begin. Watching the sun peep up over the horizon from our verandah bed, swimming in the artesian bore, observing the antics of hundreds of bird species, helping to draft 600 head of sheep in the yards. The highlight would have to be a trip on the camel wagon with Willy, and dinner cooked over the campfire, and a night under a twinkling stars in the most comfortable swag in the world! Robyn and Reid are laid back, interesting hosts, the food is all home grown (totally organic!!!) and our stay was a real insight into a life very, very different from the average! Highly recommended!!!
