The location is superb: right on the river bank with a view to the rolling breakers past the V-wall to the open sea, and across and up the river.
The food is divine, an extraordinary blend of bush tucker, European and Asian tastes that just work and don't fight each other. We hope the tapas menu lets more budget customers in the door. The service was friendly, helpful, without overdoing it, just there when you wanted it, and answering every question you could ask. The wine list has some touches you won't find at other places, and the chef knows how they blend with his food. This ought to be in the hats category in the Good Food Guide. It's that good.
