We checked in on a Sunday afternoon, there was a live Jazz trio in the bar and happy hour to boot... Was a great beginning. The rooms are well appointed and very nice. I recommend requesting a studio or apartment in the section called "Lillie's" as it is pool side and gets the morning sun.
The hot water in the shower took AGES to get hot which is honestly my only complaint. We stayed before and after our Fraser Island trip (The king sized bed was so delicious after a week of camping). A great location to get to the ferry and the 4wd hire place. I would definitely stay again and was so pleased with the reasonable prices. Continental breakfast was only $13.50 which is so refreshing compared to city hotels!!! (Date of experience: Oct, 2010 )
