When looking at the website for the Bloomfield, you can easily be impressed with what it has to offer. But that is not what you get. They state you get Kevin Murphy amenities (exclusive and expensive), but we only got these on the first night, and then the following nights got given the cheapest of cheap motel amenities, and as it is, only shampoo and conditioner.
The 'Deluxe' room was only the size of most standards, and looking in when housekeeping was servicing standard rooms, the standards are like broom cupboards. The bathrooms are even pokier. The toilet is shoved in the corner so tightly the seat doesn't even stay up, and pity help if you're not size 6 otherwise the sink will hit you on the way in and out.
The $2.50 cuppacinos are $3.50, and the waiter in the restaurant doesn't bother writing down the order, so your meal will come out wrong.
Reception like to lip service that they will get something for you, don't expect it though because they will tell you all sorts of excuses not to admit that housekeeping has gone home, and has taken the key to their facilities with them.
Has so much potential, would be nice to see them get it right. (Date of experience: Aug, 2010 )
