We went to Caversham Park based on recommendations from family we were visiting. Easy to find, just off the main road.
Very reasonable prices for entry to the park and a well laid out circuit of different animals and birds to see and in some cases mingle with (don't know about those emus though). Getting up-close with kangaroos, a wombat (supervised by a ranger), various exotic birds and even Tasmanian Devils was fantastic, not like the usual zoo environment with everything at a distance and behind bars.
The camel ride was one of the best laughs of our holiday, just leave your dignity at reception.
All of the staff we met were friendly, knowledgeable and took time to give any info needed about the animals.
We're planning a return trip to WA in a few years and I think we'll look in again.
