Bemused disappointment is perhaps the best way to describe this tour.
We unfortunately have just paid $28 for the 'premier tour', and were expecting some insight into the workings of a brewery whose beer we all enjoy. Instead we found ourselves standing around some nondescript buildings, passing around tupperware containers of ingredients before walking through a packing plant that wasn't working. Honestly, SShakespere himself would struggle to put into words how thoroughly pathetic this tour was. What's most surprising is that with the Cascade competiton only two hours away providing an excellent example of what a brewery tour should be like, Boags seem happy to charge the general public good money for what is at best an utter waste of their time. At worst it is simply embarrassing to have this tour linked to their good beer.
In short, the beer is still great, but avoid the tour at all costs. (Date of experience: Dec, 2011 )
