I just got back from Berenbell. It was my second time there. It is SUCH a lovely place. Last time we went was in winter and we had firewood and was able to light the fireplace. If thats what you are after go in winter. If you wanna see nice vine leaves across from where you are staying, go around now!

Beautiful place! Always makes me want to move out of Sydney (Date of experience: Apr, 2011 )

Getting ThereFrom the Sydney Harbour Bridge, follow the signs to Hornsby, Newcastle and the North Coast. This will take you to the National Highway 1 (F3 Freeway) entrance at Wahroonga, via the Pacific Highway. Take the National Highway 1 north towards Newcastle, then take the Cessnock/Hunter Valley Vineyards exit, approximately one hour or 100kms from the start of the freeway. Follow the signs to Cessnock and the vineyards, turn left into Broke Road and then turn right into Hermitage Road. Mistletoe Lane is 3kms along on the left.
