Boali Lodge

My husband and I have stayed at Boali for about 4 ski seasons now. There are so many reasons why we continue to go back. These include the fabulous food, the proximity to the village and the chair lifts, the friendly atmosphere in the lodge, the parking at the front of the lodge (which is unique in Thredbo) and the warm welcome that we receive from Peter and Melanie each time we go back. Boali has a large dining and lounge area for guests to enjoy. As a club lodge, Boali offers a wonderful relaxed and friendly environment to enjoy a holiday where guests are encouraged to help serve dinner. We have found this to be a good way to meet the other guests. One of the benefits of the communal dining and lounge area is that we have made many friends during our stays sitting in the dining room over a glass of red wine or around the fire in the lounge room. We continue to catch up with these friends on our return visits during the ski and hiking seasons. There are no televisions in the bedrooms so it really feels like you can get away from the every day and have a truly relaxing holiday. The spa and sauna are a welcome relief after skiing or hiking. We also enjoy all of the meals that are provided by Peter and it is a welcome relief to not have to worry about cooking or having to go to the crowded restaurants. Thank you Boali.
