Cracked Pepper Restaurant

Went to Cracked Pepper for lunch on Wednesday or Thursday (3/6/09 or 4/6/09) during our week in The Hunter Valley. The food was very good, the service was friendly and efficient, but the restaurant lets itself down with its "corporate cafeteria ambience". I don't just mean "informal" which we love, or "trendy", I mean corporate cafeteria. You don't feel inclined to linger longer than you have to. If you're looking for a quick and good lunch, between visits to the lovely craft shop next door, this is certainly a good possibility.
