Carriages Country House

We stayed at the carriages for a weekend break about a year ago. As two couples we shared the gatehouse which was totally private and seculded. There were two seperate bedrooms with private bathrooms. The bedrooms were connected by a verandah. The middle room was the kitch/dining/living with a wonderful wood burning fire. The stay was great with breakfast provisions delivered quietly each morning and the fire set and alight when we returned at night. We had a small issue with one of the doors in the living area not closing, but this was fixed quickly and we didnt even notice the owners come and go. The owners were lovely and gave us great lunch recommendations. Highly recommend for a romantic weekend away and especially recommend the gatehouse for two couples. (Date of experience: Jun, 2009 )
