Katoomba Town Centre Motel

We stayed here one night and discovered fly maggots on the bacon at breakfast. Instead of apologising the manager took the plate and was very rude and aggressive, accusing us of making up the whole thing.

I was fooled into staying at the motel by the positive reviews on the first page of tripadvisor, but after looking closer at the reviews after my stay I noticed that there were several other people who had given the place a bad review and had had a complaint about the manager. Immediately after a bad review is posted the manager belittles the reviewer creating his own fabricated version of the events and then creates new fake profiles and gives the place a high review. Nearly all the good reviews of the place are by people with only one review posted and they are all written with the same poor grammar.

I am sure the manager will try and discredit this review but the multiple other bad reviews about him and the motel speak for themselves. You have been warned, do not stay here. (Date of experience: Oct, 2011 )
