From the moment you drive up the winding bush track of a driveway, you are taken away from the rat race and transported to the most magnificent holiday destination.
The Queenslander cottage "Treetops" which we were lucky enough to stay in was beautifully maintained and furnished there is no need to bring a thing.
The views of the lake and its surrounds are truly breath taking and the wildlife is literally on your door step. It was private and felt like there was no one else around.
The complementary use of the Canoe's was the biggest draw card for us when I was searching for a place for our break.
We managed to paddle all the way around the Weyba Lake and explore the all the creeks that branch off. It was no effort at all because youre constantly taking in everything around you from the spectacular Paperbark trees on the shore line to seeing your first of many Sting Rays close up. Walking on the sand banks out in the lake is a truly amazing experience it feels as if you right out in the middle walking on water.
I would totally recommend this amazing place to anyone who wants to get away for either a short or long break and is so worth the money.
