Built in and on top of the former Panch Hospital Nurses Home you would never guess the buildings former use. Having lived in the building in the mid 1990's I could recognise the bones of the building but otherwise you would think it purpose built.
Our top floor suite was spacious and luxurious given the price. The panoramic views, floor to ceiling windows and balcony all made the room seem even bigger.
The only down sides were some corridor noise (the hotel was full of a number of junior sports teams who seemed to spend their time running from room to room), and the public areas were filled with predominantly students (who occupy the lower floors).
The bottom line: A very stylish and comfortable budget hotel. We will definitely be back. (Date of experience: Apr, 2010 )
