I arrived in Brisbane from England with no idea of where to go or what to do. I found the Yellow Sub in the Lonely Planet. It's a bit difficult to find, but worth the effort. The staff were friendly and helpful, they showed me all the places to see in Brisbane and things I could do, they also helped me find work. The hostel is old, but very clean with all the usual facilities internet/TV/swimming pool/kitchen etc. Free dinner on Sunday nights and some sort of entertainment during the week. Had a fantastic time here! (Date of experience: May, 2010 )
