Luxury in the City

Needing emergancy accommodation at the same time as the last Clipsal 500 and Adelaide Fringe Festival meant that our options for accommodation were fairly limited. On a whim (and without any prior knowledge) we booked the Allegra and were pleasantly surprised.

A stunning hotel, wonderful staff and a comfortable room completely erased our stress. The pool is very cool (it looks out onto the street but I don't think the street can see in), the gym was modern and the bar was open late enough to get a meal and drink after seeing a show.

Next time I go to Adelaide I'm staying at the Allegra, no questions asked. A little pricey but worth it for the luxury. (Date of experience: Mar, 2010 )
