I wish I'd stayed for a week

For a true yet luxurious experience of life on an outback station, this beautiful haven was a highlight. Horses, buffalo and the thrilling birdsong were a joy after cycling nearly 4,000km from Adelaide. Stopping here should be a must for every traveller. (Date of experience: Sep, 2009 )

Getting ThereMount Bundy Station is Located just outside the historic township of Adelaide River, 112km (1 hours drive) south of Darwin, less than 3km off the Stuart Highway on a sealed road, and central to Litchfield, Kakadu National Park and the Daly region, which offers great barramundi fishing. Ask about the customized wildlife tours (seasonal). Private and group Horse trail riding available.
