Mt Carbine Caravan Park

A lot of people drive straight past Mt Carbine and they are missing a great park. We first went there as we enquired about leaving our 40ft bus there while we went to the tip. The owners Robert and Jenny are fantastic hosts. Their policy for storage is that you spend at least one night there before you go to the tip and then one night when you get back and you can store you van/vehicle there for as long as you need. This deal in itself is appealing but when we arrived there and stayed a few nights, we realised that the caravan park was a great place. The park is quiet and their amenities are spotless and they are always doing maintenance on them. The sites themselves are spacious and well set out. Make sure you make time to go on Robert's walk.
